The Kluson Texas Blues Pickups are exact reproductions of legendary singlecoils of the post vintage age! The wonderfully rich, smacking sound of these pickups is due to proven materials such as Alnico magnets and the „real“ winding wire (AWG 42), but also to our self-developed „Printer Wound“ winding technique.
In a nutshell: Compared to the Kluson Vintage ’56, the Kluson Texas Blues pickups offer slightly more output, slightly more mid-range, and slightly more Texas!
The Kluson Texas Blues Pickups are perfectly matched in their output volume (approx. 6.4 – 7.1kOhm) as well as in their spacing (the distance of the outer pole pieces). In addition, the middle pickup (PSCR0) is reversed wound and polarized (RWRP), so that a completely hum-free signal results in the intermediate positions. This feature is extremely practical, because every singlecoil player gets into situations again and again, in which electromagnetic interferences can make themselves very unpleasantly noticeable.
