This simple setting of the traditional “Hail Mary” prayer quotes familiar Marian melodies— LOURDES HYMN and the chant AVE MARIA. The piece may be used on its own, or may be paired with Daniel Kantor’s “Ave Maria” (G- 3958), using the chant to bridge the two pieces.
